My Story
At the ripe old age of 43, I have learned a thing or two about being the best version of myself. What I have come to understand through my personal and professional experience, is that we don't have create any expectation in any version we play! Becoming a mother hammered this home pretty quickly. When I had my first child, I would make myself sick if I didn't hit every single mark as a new mom. From breast feeding enough to changing clothing that had even a drop of spit up, the expectations became overwhelming to say the least.
Fast forward to the birth of my fifth child, a couple of years ago, I know the best version of myself meant showing up with love, grace, and compassion for where I was presently at. As we uncover ways to get to your "best version", think about your own story and how you can meet yourself without judgement and full transparency.
Best Version, Here I Come! How to Prioritize Yourself and Achieve Personal Growth
When we take the time to focus on ourselves—just ourselves—we stand a little taller, smile a little more, and begin to see the world through a renewed lens. Yet for many of us, the real challenge lies in prioritizing ourselves amid the constant demands of family, work, and daily commitments. With so much focus on what we accomplish for others, we often forget to honor our own needs.
